If you've only seen the films them there is no problems, they tell the story.

It's just if you've read the books there's so much more in them.

There is a lot of explaination and history in the book that doesn't come out in the films, so if you start reading from the 6th you will have missed vital parts....just read them all BT :)

Must be lovely to be so near the lake district. I've been once when I was 17. I stayed for a week. It was excellent. I even climbed up Hellvellyn

I wasn't expecting to see you omhere today, spam. The lakes are lovely.

The air show was really good, we arrived just as the red arrows were starting.

 

Considering the lakes are so close I haven't been for years.

Stephen does a lot of work in the lakes so the thought of going on his day off....it's the traffic that's terrible not the place.

We used to go several times a year when I was a child. We had a caravan and it was close enough for my dad to travel back to work and leave us during the day. We had some great times on/by the lake.

 

Meg - the trip we were suposed to do was yesterday....today was very good.

I've been reading....but back now :)

We went for one of those air displays - we all enjoyed it. There were things like the ejection seats and loads of displays. Dave wouldn't let me eject him.

I've never been to an air display but we are on the flight path for the red arrows whenever they go to Buckingham Palace such as the Queen's birthday. It's pretty impressive watching them from our kitchen window.

I won tickets 2 years ago for the Fairford airshow it was one of the best days out we have had.

 

 

It helps to take young boys of all ages. Even the ones you're married to seem to love it.
