It's her husband. Another bright, hot day. I'm taking Mum for her walk soon as it'll be too hot shortly. I wish she hadn't had a stroke, we always diid so many things together.
No, they've never given her physio. She's a very determined lady. We brought her here a week after her stroke as we didn't want her left sitting around. We took it in urns getting her moving and, in between, she concentrated on getting her big toe to move. She reckoned, if she could move that, it was only a matter of time before she'd be able to move her right arem and leg. And she can but she has not much feeling in that side. Her leg feels like a lump of wood to her. She get around really well. It's difficult for her to acknowledge her balance has gone and she has no stamina. SHe is alot better than most people I know who had a stroke. Her friend says she was her inspiration. She was one of the people who stayed with her for the first week and, when she had her stroke in the opposite side of the body, she had seen how Mum did things and persevered in the same way.
I would ave thought they might have at least had a session or two with your mum and then given you some exercises to do at home and an appointment for the outpatients' clinic. It's great that you all rallied round to get/keep our mum moving and no doubt her own determination helped a great deal too.
Good Morning. Another bright one - although we did have a splash or rain about an hour ago.
Very, very cloudy, getting duller agin. It looks like the heavens are going to open again. I have to go out in about half an hour.

It's been a bit overcast here, but it's just brightening up a bit! At least we didn't get the storms they predicted last night! :)

It's been a lovely morning. I managed to get Mum out for over an hour (including a sit in Nero's) She did rerally well. She's sitting in the garden now. My father-in-law is sitting in the living room. He doesn't like breezes, flys or bees.
