Their Mum is lovely. They'll be great dogs. The only thing stopping me is having a100 yt old man falling over them. (I'd rather have two than one though)

The conversation this morning went - Me ' In a few minutes you should feel it geting warmer'

Dad 'Eh'

 

Me - ' In a few minutes you should feel it geting warmer'

 

Dad. What - in World War 3?'

 

Me - ' In a few minutes you should feel it geting warmer' shouting.

 

Dad -'You'll have to speak up'

 

Me ' Put your hearing aids on'

 

Dad - There's nothing wrong with my hearing but I suppose you think you know better than me'

 

Me (making him face me) THE HEAT IS COMING THROUGH TO THE RADIATOR'

 

Dad 'Eh?'

 

 

At least with kids you can tell them off. The trouble is, while he was wearing his hearing aids as the docter had just fitted them, the Dr. said ' your hearing is not too bad for your age'. This he's translated to mean he has perfect hearing and he doesn't need the aids. He can't hear us or the tv but thnks he can hear our neighbours (through 2 walls a 10ft gap and a room) talking about him. It's going to be one of those days.

You're not allowed to do that. The only time you can shout is when trying to get them to understand what you are saying. I think a padded room would be good.
