No but here i can watch that she doesn't pop next door for bars of chocolate instead of a meal. Our neighbours don't have a sweet shop like hers do. As for Dave's dad. he's 100 in 3months so, I'll settle for getting him to eat and drink. He seems to be diminishing but, he does eat a healthy amount each day

Nearly 100... that's exciting. He must have some stories to tell.

At that age you can tempt him with all the things he fancies.

I'm glad I don't live next door to a sweet shop. There's one a few streets away - enough distance to make me think twice.

He's diabetic, so I have to be careful. He remembers the past but can't remember the present. It takes telling him something a dozen times for him to remember - and by the next day, it's gone.
My mother was much younger and that's what her memory was like some days. Pinpoint details of the early 20th century and no recall of what she'd asked for ten minutes before.

It's a new day.( Is that a Celine Dion song title?)

I can't believe we haven't posted anything here today.

Has anyone tried white tea ? It's supposed to have more antioxidants and be better for you than green tea.

I like green tea but I always have to sweeten it with a little honey. It kind of defeats the reason for taking it.

I hate tea, I know a lot of stuff in my daughter's comestics are white tea this or that..they seem to bathe in it rahter than drink it - I have heard it has a lot of anti toxicants..anti-toxicants are vitamen C...or so I have read somewhere lately

I drink far too much coffee, which rather explains why I don't need much sleep.

I just keep thinking I should break the habit and I start drinking alternatives like load of water or herbal teas. I saw white tea on Asda'sshelves on Saturday and I almost bought it but i don't want to buy 50 tea bags if I'm only going to use a couple and never touch the stuff again.

Is anyone watching any reality tv shows regularly?

I've been watching Project Runway. I like it better than the UK version Project Catwalk.

I'm just starting to watch the latest The Amazing Race as well.

I don't record them because I don't mind if I miss a couple.

I'll possibly watch Strictly Come Dancing, especially the tangos, can't imagine why!

I've never heard of white tea. I drink good old PG tips or lemon and grapefruit herbal tea. I hate coffee. I used to try and drink it as a child but never liked the taste and the day my mum accidently tipped a pot of coffee over me (luckily I was wearing a thick dressing gown), I stopped drinking it.

How much sleep do you get a night BT?

I watched the american strictly come dancing yesterday afternoon, the standard was very high and the star contestants and the professional dancers were so nice and funny, more personality than the british contestants. However early this year watched the american modern dance programme so you think you can dance with nigel lythgoe as judge and the dancing was astounding and amazing compared to Sat.nights show here DanceX which I hope will pick up after the first programme. Sorry this was in anwer to Baytree.
I don't usually watch reality TV shows. Mind you, since my father-in-law came to live here, I haven't watched much TV anyway. Sleep I do need and get very ratty when I don't have it. Unless of course I'm out enjoying myself which doesn't happen often either these days.
I wouldn't watch Dance X because I dislike both Arlene Phillips and Bruno whatsisname. They're getting more like the X Factor judges and beginning to think they are the stars of the show and chase the media spotlight.

Some forums have a topic for post milestones. No need for us to start one though.
