I think it's been said many, many times. The singer gets a writing credit for actually singing the song. Another unfair thing.

No, that isn't true. By right the singer only gets royalties for singing the song, not writing credits.

The sharp practice alleged in the article though is that some singers simply won't sing a song unless they are given an unearned writing credit. It's the money versus credibility and intellectual rights thing for songwriters.

Pete Glennister said that some years back CB era, when he said darius only needed them to do fine tuning on his songs, well we all know Darius' demo songs are just excellent in fact sometimes the fine tuning cocks up the song a bit..thinking of Kinda Love and the vocal effect....the original acoustic version was far superier imo

I think most of us will agree with you on that PiP

I've loved all the demos/pure Darius songs

Oh where oh where has everyone gone?

...going back to my book...pop back later to see if anyone is around

Sorry, I wasn't around much yesterday.

I had a massive "do it" time challenge yesterday, so now I can sit here all smug for the foreseeable future.

It's nice to be missed though.

I really, really am going off now, I have a lift so I could go later. See you this evening.
