Two of the ladies I meet while walking my dog husbands have died. Both funerals are this week. It makes me sad, I know how I'd feel if I lost mine.

Yes I went to bed.....back home now.

 

Drop off is terrible now you can't go to the front of departures and as usual the signs vanish so I ended up going into the car park and paying £1.80 just for 2 minutes :(

It's the same at Stansted. Our cab driver had to pay about £2 to pick us up even though he just drove in and drove straight out again.

Both husbands had been in remission for 2-3 years and relapsed and died within months. I think it was thinking they'd got through it and then losing them which made it worse.

Oh yes, you can tell him I'm up now. Just waiting to do my father-in-law's second cup of tea, then I'm of food shopping. Oh the excitement of it all.

I came back from the shops with 70 muffins ( mostly double chocolate, I don't know how that happened) and 10 double choc biscuits. I got other things as well - but they were the important bits.
