I'm just waiting for it to finish. My father-in-law has his, Dave has his. I'll go now.

I went, I saw, I conquered - well ate my lunch anyway.

Now I'm back.

That should have been 'I'll be back' but I missed it.

You are back - that is your line.

Had a different day. The drain blocked and the only way I could clear it was to lay flat on the ground with my arm covered with gunge - very nice. Then my husband decided to prune the shrubs (a rare occurance spurred on by the fact his friends are coming enmass tomorrow) and cut the phone line instead. Virgin kept me waiting for 30 mins. I really must get rid of them. Anyway, it's a bank holiday so no phone until sometime Tuesday.

Yes - the broadband comes through the cable but the engineers, in their wisdom, decided to put a single telephone wire, unprotected, along the ground and then interwoven with the shrubs to reach up to the window. The idiots didn't even mention that we'd have to watch out when trimming the shrubs back. We actually thought they'd have done a professional job. We should know by now.
They say Tuesday - goodness knows what they'll charge. It would be better if I didn't feel it was their fault.

Charge? I've never been charged for breakdowns I don't think unless Bt have added i9t to my bill. I have the terrible habit of simply reading and paying the bottom line.
I think it's because it was physically cut - but it wouldn't have been if they had put it in a sensible place.
I'm beginning to mellow a little - and it has nothing at all to do with Pam's Malibou

I haven't had a drink. Maybe that's why I'm feeling so awful.

I'm going to have to go and hope that I can either be sick or some sleep will cure it.

I'll agree with that - it was mine. Well, there is still some left but there wont be for long.
What does one take with it? I remember trying it once but not being impressed. I can't remember if it was neat.
