I like the Johnathon Creek ones with Caroline but didn't like the ones with her replacement. That just didn't seem to work as well.

Went to Grange over Sands today.....it got hotter and hotter

 

There were some lovely geese in the park.....some I've never seen before.

 

My mum moaned most of the time but hey she was out in the fresh air :)

 

My brother has gone home now....well he's still on the train

It was too hot here too. I'm not complaining as this may be the last lovely day this year.

I get some time to myself and it's dull and overcast. Still it's let me catch up on some housework. Johnathan Creek is a series I can say I've never seen. What is it about ?

It's about a man who creates illusions for a magician and solves the 'unsolvable' crimes that baffle the police. It has a quirky humour to it which suits me.

It sounds like the sort of thing I might enjoy. I like things with gentle humour. Do you know which channel it's on just now?

I'm guilty too. I've stopped buying TV guides because I never look at them, preferring to bring up the Sky guide and use the 'i' button on there.

No, I just click. I don't actually expect to find anything. One day, I'm going to come across a program which says something like 'Darius Danesh sings' and I'll know it's all beeen worth it.

We've just got back from driving to bude in cornwall today and back. Met up with my daughter who is holidaying there with the grandchildren. Visited tintagel castle on the edge of the cliffs, beautiful scenery but what I was amazed by was I had a parcel to post and in a short stretch of road came across three post offices out in what I would term the sticks, we are lucky to find more than one here!!

I wonder if they will still have 3 when the next lot of cuts are completed.

I've got about 6 or so Post Offices within walking distance and countless postboxes.

I have 2 but one is about 3 miles away.

One is all anyone really needs provided it has the full range of services.

Ours is run by a nice set of people. That's an extra bonus that makes it pleasant to go there.
