Originally Brian Poole & the tremeloes, they were signed to Decca records in preference to the Beatles( they auditioned on the same day).

 

They had early hits like Twist and shout, Do you love me and Someone Someone.

 

After Poole left they were known simply as the Tremeloes and had more hits like Here comes my baby, Silence is golden, Even the bad times are good, Suddenly you love me, Call me number one, Me and my life.

 

I quite liked some of their hits.

strictly division two.... not keen tbh.

I love "Call Me Number One" and "Me & My Life". Not too bothered about the rest.
