Sooooo once upon a time! At some ridiculous hour yesterday morning I went to Stoke to be reunited with everyone's favourite Smaaaa. My baby guinea pig was also with me, only for 10 minutes though (long story!) and Smaaa decided she now must get one also.

 

Anyways we noisely got on the train and hysterically laughed for no reason as usual. Half way down to London, Dud text Sam asking had we seen Lucie's post. We then thought 'oh s*** the gig in cancelled' but aha it was just about the surprise. We then thought 'oh s*** Lucie is pregnant'. :o When we got to London we got lost for like 2 hours on the tube (oops!) and then found our hotel. We were staying with The Tour De France people and many American school children. :o

 

I changed and we then phoned everyone's favourite Ana and headed to the 02. Ana ran outside the 02 at Sam (right infront of Lucie who we hadn't spotted) and yay it was all very random again. Lucie we think was having Burger King outside (Lucie is now probably reading this either shouting 'it was McDonalds' or 'no I was not'). Umm after that we stood outside the Indig02 (myself, Sam, Ana, Chris, Paul, French Charlotte and her friend, Linda and her friend Ivy and I think other Charlotte joined us later on along with Daz). We were going to get dinner but whatever stupid queues so we had Aero Chocolate, yummy but not so healthy.

 

Now I'm boring you all, I will cut to the chase. We got inside the gig and the venue really is lovely. We watched first Tony Moore do one song then Karima Francis, who was really good. After that it was Jamie something or other who was alright. Then Foy Vance who we all would have liked more had he not have over-run... We may have been slightly hostile to one Foy fan who shouted 'do more songs Lucie won't mind'. What?! As Ana rightly shouted back 'we mind!'. :lol: I think somewhere in all that we were informed we were making yet another starring webcam role. :lol:

 

Obviously as everyone saw Lucie was utterly amazingly fantastically wonderful, as per usual. The set was a lot of fun and the crowd was quite a good one, Mia looked happeh during Last Year aswell. Some hints were given as to why there was a big sparkly ring on Lucie's finger. Ta dahhhh she's engaged! :D Umm after the show we spoke/congratulated Lucie briefly and had some huggles and kisses. Lucie isn't pregnant, we did check...

 

Sam&Nat: 'We thought you were pregnant'.

Lucie: 'Errr NO that would be awful, I'm not the maternal type'.

Daz: 'You've got to pop one out one day'.

Lucie: 'I'll just have dogs instead'.

 

Also Sam started walking out the building and Daz shouted across the room 'oi lesbian' and Lucie looked at Daz with this face :o and goes 'you're so rude, I can't believe you just said that'. Honestly I almost died laughing, it was just a classic face from Lucie. Sam also was really amused. :lol:

 

We said a quick goodbye (thankyou Lucie for being such an angel all evening etc). We were ushered out of the venue because of Timbaland (all jokes bashing Timbaland are welcome) and err we left the 02. On the way out they told us 'keep walking on the right' Sam shouted back 'is it because Timbaland is coming'. :lol: We then met some ace security, I can't remember what they said but it was TOO funny. Then we got a taxi back to the hotel for some shut eye but were awakened by a drunk phonecall from my friend Jo, who I will name and shame here. This morning we rolled out of bed at the crack of dawn and headed back up to the lovely North of the country.

I think most of us spotted Lu wearing the ring straight away on the webcam! Well she did say to pay attention! :lol:

Lol the thought did cross my mind that she was gonna announce she was pregnant or something!!! But I didn't like to say anything, she might have read that topic and been like 'OMG' :o :lol:

Oh no, I think it is safe to say now Lucie won't be getting pregnant for a very long time! :lol: She'll just get a chihuahua or something!

The gig was hilarious! For some reason I had the urge to shout "Ain't nobody sing it like Lucie" in a funny accent as she was playing 'The longer we're apart'. That led to a group of us spending the first half of the song in hysterics!

Well yes it is true. We did hear you call each other 'gay' and 'dyke' repeatedly! :lol: I could not stop laughing during TLWA, I swear it was hilarious when Daz shouted for some reason.
