I liked most of Howard's singles up to and including "Look Mama", though I think he went downhill after that.

isn't it strange how hic career & popularity in the uk, his own home country started to go downhill

while in the us he was still quite popular in the late 80's it seems like american continued to love him

and buy his music after the uk just went off him.but unfortunately now his career over both in the uk & us.

His last US Top40 hit was in 1992 & it is my favourite song by him:

Howard Jones - Lift Me Up

I remember him, yes, and a fave single of mine was '(Don't Try to Live Your) Life in One Day', and to a lesser extent, 'Things Can Only Get Better'.

All I Want was great... so was New Song and the slowie he did around this time.

He had abysmal hair, though....

First gig the other half went to was Howard Jones.

Mine was (cough) UFO (cough) :o

I couldn't stand that guy that used to prance around in his videos though, what was he all about
He made some great pop songs, i liked his 1992 US hit Life Me Up. I bought that single.
