Posted July 10, 200718 yr http://i16.tinypic.com/4u4sy85.jpg Not one, not two but THREE fresh new entries into the top 10 this week. 2 of which fly straight into the top 5. The first is the Cribs follow up to 'Men's Needs', the excellent 'Moving Pictures' which I actually prefer to their previous release. The second one is hot off the press and not released for about another 5 or 6 weeks. Hard-Fi return with 'Suburban Knights', which gives us a taste of what to expect from their next album 'Once Upon A Time In The West'. Definately one to keep an eye on in the future! Elsewhere, exciting news from the top of the pile as well as Arctic Monkeys have now equalled the record for most weeks spent at no.1 (although not consecutively). They've now spent 6 weeks at the top, 4 at no.2 and a staggering 11 in the top 5 overall! Its only fitting for a song of its calibre, and its a record that will take some beating! Again, this week's chart is very much a case of 'Out with the old, in with the new' so a lot of the older songs are now making their way down and out of the top 10 including past favourites Klaxons, Razorlight and The Enemy. One final new entry to tell you about this week, courtesy of The Coral. 'Who's Gonna Find Me' is their TOTB debut, and tbh, it's good but not great so I wouldn't be too surprised to find that its entry position of 7 also ends up as its peak. So now the question is, with so many fresh new entries appearing in the chart, can Arctic Monkeys break Razorlight's 10-month record of 6 weeks at the top?!? FA is propably the best single of the year. moving pictures is my current #1 song.trhe cribs are amazing & their new album is the best indie pop album of the year. klaxons are top as always n the rest ...as i v said are excellent
