Well, there certainly seems a lot we wouldn't like either for. Although I'm sure someone has a preference for the mags.

BTW apparently Elton has called for the internet to be shut down for a while to protect the music industry. Wouldn't shutting down the web for even a day cause chaos?

He's more interested in his money that problems that'd be caused.

It just couldn't be done. A lot of small businesses of all kinds depend on the net and they'd lose more in total by a temporary shutdown than the music industry would. They might go out of business altogether.

ANd people who wouldn't buy music normally probably still wouldn't

I reckon thousands of people who legally download music and pay for it just wouldn't bother seeking out much of it in record shops and lots of artists, maybe not people with reputations and back catalogues like Elton, would lose out.
