Thanks Suggy. Actually I think the public are ready, it just needs someone to do it. I'd love it to be Will, if only because his video's are always of such quality - maybe we misjudge the public sometimes, I think the vast majority are more tolerant than we give them credit for. The minority who would be offended are probably already offended by Will simply because he's openly gay ;)

Can you imagine the outcry though munchkin if Will snogged anyone in his videos? yet no one said a dickybird when Jake Shears did it in his Filthy Gorgeous video did they? I think it's a case of who you are and not what you are. :cool:

Can't honestly see Will ever snogging a guy in one of his vids but it would be nice for it be shown in a sensitive way that his love interest was in fact a man instead of being ambiguous as in LRN & ATL.

 

I this the public could handle a few 'looks' and hand holding.....in fact - I think it would do the public good to emphasise the love angle rather than the sex.....which is all some of them can see..... :huh:

There doesn't have to be kissing in the video..much as i'd love that...but it could be shown that their a couple..without an added female. :angry: .or Will singing to the camera.

Xtina did show two men kissing..but it wasn't as a love interest..it wasn't personal..just about it being ok no matter 'what they say' Will could make it as it is for him...normal. :wub:

 

You can bet your bottom dollar that if Will snogged anyone in a video, then he'd have to face all sorts of criticism. Although of course it's perfectly all right for anyone else to do it. :rolleyes:

I find it incredibly sad that William knows he won't be 'allowed' to do certain things - yet a straight man can portray a gay man but Joe Public finds it uncomfortable to even think about a real gay man doing the same things.

The way things are going in the singles chart now and with less music outlets selling singles, I doubt we'll even get 3 physical releases next time round, probably 2 physical and 1 download only release. :(

I can see that happening. Pity as we'll lose some B sides, and some of Will's B sides have been pretty good, if not great. :dance:

I don't really see Will as a big selling singles artist anymore though Tillywhim, I see him being more of an album seller since the Keep On album and I think that the next round of Will promotion will show that. I think that's how Will and his management see it as well now, I also think the majority of his fanbase are album buyers anyway and seeing as he gets good radio airplay (I hear him on the radio nearly every day) I don't see it as a problem. :D

Hope your right Suggy...but I do feel I have to worry for him...been doing it for so long now its a hard habit to kick :D

We are all so looking forward to the new album but we will be nervous wrecks when it's released.
