Posted July 12, 200718 yr You married motocross racer Carey Hart, 31, last January. How has this changed you? "Well, I've been touring so I haven't been home the entire time, so I haven't been married much." So none of Carey's bad habits have rubbed of on you yet? "Well, I put on my socks the same way every night. I got that from my husband. The way he outs his gear on and how I put my outfits on now has to be left and then right. It's crazy!" How do you cope with been apart from you hubby and family while touring? "I call them a lot. You know what I like to do? I like to change my outgoing message every day using anything sarcastic I've read over the internet: Hi, I'm not available right now but thank you for caring enough to call me. I'm making some changes in my life, please leave a message after the beep and if I don't call you back, then you're one of those changes." [Pink laughs] "My mom called and I haven't called her back yet and she's pissed off." Do you have any plans to start a family? "You sound like my mom! Hopefully because I'd like to corrupt children one day!" [Pink laughs] "Like most people I'd love a family but I still feel like I'm 17. Adopting is just as beautiful as having your own. I rescue dogs, so why not rescue children?" What keeps you sane when you're on the road for such long periods? "Sarcasm is a big thing in my life!" [Pink laughs] "I live on sarcasm alone, sarcasm goofiness and deep thought music is my own way of puring demons. I have no secrets." What do you think of fiesty British artists such as Amy Winehouse and Lily Allen? "They're going crazy in America right now. They're awesome. The world needs more interesting rock stars and not just boring pop stars, otherwise it would be a boring place. I've listened to both, they're great." Britney Spears is working on a new album. Will you be offering an olive branch and writing any songs for her? "No. Not because I don't like her - I do think she's crazy enough to do one of my songs. But it's very hard for me to let go of my songs and the only people I write for are real singers - not that she's not a real singer, but she's more of an entertainer. When I mean real singers, I mean the likes of Lauryn Hill, Faith Hill - and I'd write for Amy Winehouse, because you need serious attitude to carry off the dumb stuff I write about."
