Posted July 13, 200718 yr MTV/Sony BMG confirms Spears Christmas Release! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Reports say Spears’ LP will be out in December to fill your pop stockings, though Pink’s not helping…. Britney Spears first album post rehab-breakdown-hair shaving is scheduled for release this Christmas. According to The Star she’ll bring out a new album before the end of 2007 along with fellow divas Jennifer Lopez and Dido. Britney has been working with producers including Ne-Yo, Swizz Beats, Nate Hills and Pharrell Williams. Fellow star Pink though will not be helping on the record. Despite writing for other singers she said: “I do think she's crazy enough to do one of my songs.” “But it's very hard for me to let go of my songs and the only people I write for are real singers - not that she's not a real singer, but she's more of an entertainer.” The 25 year old has had many personal battles recently but obviously wants to get her career back on track. July 13, 200718 yr I think it'd be better for the album to be released in mid-late November like most of her others. Hopefully it will be released around that time 'cause then the album would be able to get more sales leading up to Christmas too. ^_^ Just gotta wait for a new single kinda soon and then we should pretty much know for sure we'll get an album before the end of the year! :D
July 13, 200718 yr Author Get Naked would not go down well i depends on what the song is about, some titles are misleading :P ... But you have to remember that's just a rumour. I think she should release it like, third or dourth week of November, and debut her single at the VMA awards, then have it for radio adds the next week, that way the song would have over two months to reach it's peak along with the album :D

July 14, 200718 yr I want to listen to songs like "Freakshow", "Rebellion" or "Just Yesterday (Little Me)". I suppose great songs like "Someday (I Will Understand)" or "And Then We Kiss" were very good material that went to waste since I don't think any of them will make it on the new album.

July 15, 200718 yr Coolness. :cheer: Although I must say Christmas is just worlds away. :( It seems like it, but how quick has it been since February, it's only like that far away - once the video for the singles out and the excitement builds, it'll fly over!

July 17, 200718 yr Ugh, E! News reported that the album would be released in 2008 now but I bet they're full of c**p. -_- I just hope we get a confirmed release from a source close to Britney very soon!
