By the way, the colour on the girl's fingers was accidental. it was the fact that she had one less on view that was the difference.

It went really well. The dancing was just starting whe we left. We got back about 10mins ago. My father-in-law was sitting in the front room wondering what was happening, so I did his hot water bottle and got him to bed. He'll be unsettled for a couple of days now so we'll have to be careful.

It was trying to park the car that caused problems. Mum has to ge a disability sticker as she just can't walk far. She says it'd make her feel old. It's a darn site better than being stuck for parking and ending up having to drop me and her near and my husband having to find somewhere to park - and then go and get the car and try to hang around to pick her up again. Also one way systems and road works. Lucily the parents of the bride got held up too.
