Scots singer Darius, 25, charmed the actress when they bumped into each other at a pedestrian crossing in Los Angeles. Natasha, 31, said: I "He'll kill me if I tell you but we literally met in the street. "He was checking I out the Argyle Hotel on Sunset Boulevard. ' I met him at a stop-light. "It was awkward but we started talking and the lights changed from green red so many times. "We must have talked for about half an hour and then he asked for my number. "It is pretty unusual to meet someone that way here." The Record revealed two weeks ago how Darius - who found fame on telly's Pop Idol before going on to enjoy chart success with single Colourblind and debut album Dive - has moved into Natasha's £1million Los Angeles home. And the pair couldn't be happier, despite their age difference. She said: "What I makes our relationship work is taking it one I day at a time and compromise, supporting each other but knowing where the boundaries are. "You have to really I love the person but how you relate to each other is just as important. "You can be passionately in love with someone but not be able to live with them." However, Natasha - who starred in hit films Species and The Whole Ten Yards -has told Darius to leave his ego at the front door. Asked if there was one subject they ever rowed about, the star of American TV drama Commander-in-Chief said: "Letting go of our egos is a big one. We are both conscious of it, though." Darius, who comes from Bearsden, near Glasgow, and Natasha have been together for two years. And the actress says she'd love to get married. Natasha, who is divorced from actor Damian Chapa, said: "I think I'd like to marry again when the time is right." The pair showed their affection in his video for the single Live Twice. And the Scot also enjoys playing the father figure to the actress's sons, Tristan, seven, and Asher, four. He said: "I'm very much in love with Natasha and we're very much together. She is gorgeous on the outside and beautiful on the inside."
April 29, 200619 yr It's pretty unusual to meet a life partner that way anywhere, not just in LA. Was naughty Darius economical with the truth when he asked to have Natasha in his video? Was he already dating her and only pretended to be meeting her for the first time at the Mondrian Hotel ? :D I wonder what his chat up line was. When the DR are short of a story do they just ring up a few celebs? Did they perhaps get Natasha's quotes from some other interview? Marriage? May 2, 200619 yr I could never live with D. We'd be screaming at each other within a day. He's far too tidy and perfect for me and his lack of timekeeping would drive me up the wall.

May 2, 200619 yr Darius looks like the cat that got the cream, there and no wonder......he's luckier than most, he seems to achieved a real balance in his life. he looks more like a purring pussycat than the rampant Culzean lion. Me, I love them both!
