live and acoustic - pure delight

that made me think of angel delight....I loved the butterscotch flavour.......must look for some next time I go shopping

Urgh! I hate angel delight, blancmange, custard.

 

I wish I'd heard Simple Like the Truth live and acoustic at Butlins. He was fantastic singing it at the Hammersmith Apollo. I'd also love to hear Save Love live. I'm hooked on the song.

 

I also have very fond memories of Live Twice sung acoustically in Oxford (was it HMV?)

Hope the Martini's shaken not shtirred!

 

Now I can taste that butterscotch Angel Delight and I'm also thinking Caramac.

 

 

I really want to hear Simple Like The Truth live without people screaming and blowing hooters and whistles. I'd also like to hear most of the LT tracks, stripped of production.

 

Wouldn't that be good. I thought that accousic set was great, Nina.

Every one of the songs I've heard in a purely accoustic setting, I've loved ( well, apart from DIY and his voice was fantastic in that) I would just love to hear all of both albums, all b sides all done really stripped down with no backing tracks.

Another Butlins - with the acoustic set being the major set.

 

I'd pay them a full weekend's price in their best accommodation for that. I'm only sorry I didn't before.

 

And if he could nip round to their Playhouse and star in one of those murder mystery plays their rep company used to do, that would be just the ticket. Then we could all have a midnight pool party......or maybe not. Wouldn't want fans getting into trouble just so darius could rescue them.

Wouldn't a whole weekend (or week) of Darius be good.

It used to be so easy in the past. Join the fan club, get newsletters, special fan club gigs and meet and greets and an exclusive fanclub record, usually round about Christmas. Those were the days.

 

Didn't we make an attempt to get an official fanclub for Darius but it wasn't allowed?
