I hate to think how long we'll have to wait until we can start it ...... unless we use this thread to give him ideas about what to put in the video. Which could be hard for us as we don't know what the song will be.

 

I'll put in music. I think it'll give him an idea of where to start.

I would have liked to see him riding the horse sweeping a girl up on the way like a dashing hero.!! I dont like videos like girl in the moon which looks just like a practice gig. Colourblind to me was great.

We've had 3 with girls, 1 with a horse, two with his band, 3 with him in a car,.

 

Colourblind, Incredible, Girl In The Moon, Kinda Love and Live Twice all had him walking/running about searching

 

 

We haven't had sporty Darius or dancing Darius or how about animated dancing Darius ?

I loved the gITM video. Not an animated Darius though, I'd rather have the real thing.

GITM is my least favourite video, apart from the parts where he's talking to the guys and the very end.

Girl in the moon is also my least favourite video for the reason I said above but also because I didnt like the black and white, I didnt think it showed him in his best light, he is very charismatic and I didnt think the black and white showed that. He is leading man material or as one of the reviews said matinee idol, so why not enhance that together with putting the song across strongly. As I have said before its not just us it has to please.

I thought GITM was a lovely simple vid which gave you a feeling of the band together. It didn't tell a story, just let you see them together. I liked the view of the person rather than the popstar.

 

I agree though, the next vid should be different but, to me, all the vids are different.

I didnt think the video for girl in the moon sold the song at all, to me it was just like watching a gig from TOTPS or similar. I think a video needs to be a bit of fantasy, tell a bit of a story, romantic and clever. I notice Enrique has been away a while but he still used a girl in his new video and it has worked.His single and his new album have done quite well.

I've never heard his song or seen the video.

Its on the radio a lot, heard it on radio 2 and seen the video by accident whilst switching channels. He has also done a lot of promotion.
