Getting the song and vid played really helps. Even if we come up with a brilliant idea, if it's not seen, it wont help.

Well I'd actually like to see some evidence that there's any effort going into that at all. A lot of other 19 people seem to get pre-publicised first view slots on TV, but Darius never has.

I'd like to know what's happening with Brilliant 19. For the last couple of years, Darius has only seemed to mention Simon Fuller when taking about management.

Please don't tell me Fuller's got full control now.

I just haven't heard Brilliant 19 or Nick mentioned for ages. The website is years out of date. Darius' site is pointed to .com. I'f just like to know what is actually happening. I'll try and remember to ask some time.

Surely brilliant 19 are no longer in existance otherwise they would be covering other artistes which they arent. The only artistes I can think of suffering the same fate under 19 (if that is where he is) is rachel stevens but even she has had press snippets recently.

She has a lot of promotion whenever she does anything. She is with 19 and not Brilliant 19. I'd just lke to know what is happening.

Is Rachel still trying to be an actress in LA?

Last I heard she was. I haven't heard anything about her recording.

I just wondered when you said she gets a lot of publicity. I hadn't seen much apart from some pictures of her new hair style.

 

How come they don't stick pictures in the paper when guys change their hair style with the exception of david Beckham ? IMHO his hair became a public interest when he started wearing hairbands etc and Vicky saw the publicity and saw that he changed it almost as often as his clothes.

I thought she came back from LA a while back because she didn't have any success!! She hasn't been featured in the media much, I don't think - the most recent has been pictures of her with her new beau!! Yet again, I don't know his name, but I don't think he is anyone famous, but apparently, Rachel is smitten!! That seems to be the only fairly recent news about her!! :rolleyes: :)

They're always smitten according to the papers. Geri was smitten with Darius and he with her or so they said, while the two of them were saying "we're just mates having a laugh together".

It's his ability to have female friends who are just friends that throws them

........and being just friends with his exes. Do you remember the fankle the press got into when Darius was in Scotland and escorted Rachel to a University Ball at the end of her course in Edinburgh long after they stopped dating?

Yes I do. It seems a shame that, if you like someone, when the relationship goes, so does the friendship

If Darius said in Liverpool that the album was 'all but ready', why do you think he is waiting till 2008 to release?

 

He must have some big plans between now and then to pave the way - I wish he would give us a clue!! :unsure: :)

It isn't recorded yet, he's still doing the demos. It has to be fitted into both his plans his labels plans. I'll be delighted if is out soon but I'm certainly not holding my breath. It should be much nearer having the recording completed now than it was when G&D finished.

 

I wonder who the label is.

 

He's with 19 records. Who'll distribute it is, as yet, unknown.

He's not mentioned one to me - but that's not surprising. That could all be in the next step.

I'm with you there. Without his imput, 'Live Twice' could have been a lot different.

He produced Better Man and got a co-write. Now where is the obvious producer's input - could it be that unnecessary electronic mucking about with D's vocals?

 

He was probably the guy who decided to farm out backing vocals and production to be done without Darius. That's not D's way at all.
