I'll try and scan it later. I have to wait until Dave goes out as it takes longer and is yet another thing I can not do on my pc.

Haven't we all got the odd photo like this.......ooh, I wasn't ready.....take it again! At least such photos can be

deleted on digital cameras.

You'd think if he'd been worse for the wear and it had been obvious then they would have used a picture showing him wavering, gesticulating or something.

That picture looks to me as if they've caught him mid-blink looking down at someone shorter than himself.

They're still calling GWTW Darius's flop show, but at least they manage to admit he was praised for his part in it.

I wonder what brought him back across the Atlantic so soon. He's here for a reason that's for sure. I really hope it's to crack on with the album in London.

According to 2 girls on D's Facebook page he was at a Seal concert/gig the other night. There is a short article about Seal in the Daily Star today so I assume the gig was in London. I wonder if D collaborates with Seal at all when he is writing/composing!?

Julie

I don't know enough about Seal's music to know whether that is at all likely.

The 2 couples are very friendly.

I'm just moving this back up - always hopeful. No news is sujpposed to be good news.

"Ask and it shall be given to you".

When is apparently not part of the equation : believe and ask = receive

I'm sure I read somewhere that Seal is the presenter of the One Night Only show this coming Sunday or the next. Will Young's on one of the shows. If he's on the Seal one maybe they will do a duet. I think their voices would work well together.

Only thing is, I'm not sure I could sit through For One Night Only again.

I sure couldnt, it was dire, and imo did the performers no justice, they were horrendous! although by the cheers and screams it appears fans are given the chance of tickets. I couldnt watch tbh, kept just popping over to look when the numbers were on, to see if they looked as bad as they sounded..and they did. Hihg light of the show...the contortionist!

He was exceptional. He did some things I've never seen anyone do before. They were eye watering to watch. The faces of the audience showed just how much.

I can't stand all that americanised screeching and hollering for acts that are often not that great. It's so artificial.

I have to say I'm still worried about how Darius will manage to appeal to old and new fans and still produce a cohesive album like Dive In was. That was so intricately worked out with individual song lyrics intrepretable on 2 layers and with themes running through the songs binding them together. That what I missed on Live Twice. Don't get me wrong, I loved the songs equally well but I wasn't keen on the flow of the tracks. I tend to shuffle LT or programme the tracks when I play it. I've always played Dive In right through.

I think LT would have worked better as a regret/joy album with songs like Live Twice, Journeys End, If I Could, Save Me, Resolution and Only You in one group and the others including Secret Song in the other.

I never play it right through either.....I group them together

...like you Dive In is just great at any point and played through

Dive In works all ways; up loud keeping me company on a long drive with me singing along, softly just chilling at home with a glass of wine, shuffled or straight through, it really doesn't matter. Although Darius worked with different producers on DI, IMHO his influence is clearly stamped on each finished production like a hallmark, a guarantee of authenticity.

This one should have his hallmark.

I wonder how coming along....I would like to nip round and have a listen....put my pennies worth in :D

Take Meg with you, Pam. :)
