My sister is perpetually running on Darius time. When we arrange a meet, I always allow an hour or so before I consider trying to contact her to find out where she is :rolleyes: She's a bit like D though as she's always doing 3-4 things (and all at once usually) and she's lovely too :)

I hate making people wait - to me it's saying that they don 't matter as much as I do.

if you are with someone or doing something that you cannot leave making you late else where....

 

my husband used to moaned when I came home late from work......yes it's 24 hour care and someone should take over from you, but sometimes that doesn't happen and you can't walk from someone needing those extra few minutes/ hour(s)

 

I try to be a good time keeper at other things......but I tend to get phone calls or asked for help.....or a dog runs off....but I do try....honest Meg...and you do matter as much as I do....but so does everyone else :no:

 

Darius has a heart of gold....

The thing is that your personal life can sometimes take over and you find yourself having to apply time to that even though it makes other people wait.

I think with Darius it's a knock on effect.

 

He's running a tight, sometimes overtight schedule but he can't bear to disappoint anyone by being less than totally courteous, so he gives just a bit more time than he should to someone at his first appointment and the time gap between real time and Darius time snowballs as he goes through his day.

I remember the time he was so tired they just couldn't wake him up. If they'd asked for help, I bet I could have. I have practise at waking people up. They probably still wanted him to talk to them though.

Over on D's Facebook page under 'Just Fans' Rachel has posted a link to an interview D had with No. 1 magazine - at the end D says that he is working on his new album which will be a cross between Michael Buble/Josh Grogan and will hopefully be ready by the end of the year!! He does say he will be touring and promises a very exciting 2010 so I hope he has plenty in the pipeline prior to the album as it seems we still have quite a wait until it is ready!

I agree with Baytree. Another opportunity missed.

Because a magazine says the end of the year, they may not be right. If it was out next week, that'd be before the end of the year.

that would be a crime if it was end of this year.. even some download only tracks woudl be good at this moment in time!!! I realy would love to know what goes on with Darius...what is going on that we dont know about, if things are happening at all behind the scenes.

They are - we do know that. It'll be worth the wait. He has a management team who do know who he is this time around.

Darius appreciates and values his fans. those he associates with never seem to. If they did, they'd be putting something concrete out there.

 

Shoulds, maybes, some time in the future and other qualifications just don't cut it.

This lot are different to 19. But they wont put out anything which may work against Darius just to make us feel better. I really feel we should give them a chance.

It's only a few weeks since pstos. I always want more though - that's life.

Once you get a taster, you want more. I never did have any patience.

Well, he's busy in NI now. I think we're going to have to show him how to post on facebook while he's out of England.
