Whatever happened to the ' in restraint of trade' legislation? All this just seems so wrong. And they are still talking about radio play being included in the chart. They can destroy people's carreers well enough now without that being added to it.

I feel it is going that way with ITV as well, a number of the entertainment shows are produced by Simon cowells company Syco? so I was glad to see that Grease produced by his company I believe failed in the ratings and ITV say they wont be doing any more musical programmes. However SC still has other things there like the Xfactor and everytime there is a slot for an artiste to plug their release it is one of those under the label he uses and often specifically his artistes.That happened on ant and decs takeaway as well and american idol. Its like a closed book.
July 23, 200717 yr When CBB ran into problems, it started to come to light how involved one management group was. Just about everyone who was high profile in the Show and had made their reputation with it were signed to the same group. Did they learn? Obviously not...............It'sclaimed one of the current housemates who seems to have been unfairly protected from eviction is signed to ..................... you've guessed. I don't need to tell you.

July 23, 200717 yr It's like turning around a tanker. If it can be done at all, it will take a very long time. One of my criticisms of the way Mercury handled D's albums was that they seemed to blow a fortune from the promotions budget on his singles' videos (apart from GITM) and expect that to be enough. True, they stand the test of time and still look good but at what cost?

July 23, 200717 yr I don't think Mercury knew they were a couple. It had been a trend for a while to use Hollywood stars or Sports stars in videos. Enrique had Jennifer Love Hewitt, didn't he and then Anna Kournikova. I think Robbie's Feel was the last I remembered before Kinda Love. She was the "10'girl I think but I can't remember her name. R'n' B stars do it all the time. 50 cent's In Da Club featured Emimem.
