Anyone heard of this lady? Her new album Coco is No.1 on iTunes America and her song Bubbly is already No.62 in our iTunes pop chart with a realistic chance of being in the top 100 soon

She has a gorgeous voice and the songs are brilliant, I think this lady could be very very big quite soon...here's her brilliant MySpace

Here is the video to one of her tracks, Oxygen:

'Bubbly' is free on iTunes this week. Are free downloads eligible to chart on the Hot 100? I wonder...

I don't think they would be would they? Perhaps people would be encouraged to pay to download some of the other tracks

I have her album, amazing, I was like wetting myself with excitement on the 17th! I'm SO gutted I can't see her on tour with The Goo Goo Dolls (that's how I heard of her) because that'd be like the best gig ever.

My favourite album track is Capri, it's beautiful. <3 I'm such a wet blanket I cried!

I hope she goes far too - I can imagine she'll be well liked anyways.

I just hope she launches her music here...I can't wait to hear the rest of the album

I've had a listen to a couple of her songs and I like her! :)

And me, it is exciting and the 24th of September we say, which means she may have to get her butt over here to promote! Yeah the album is AMAZING. I had the cd on pre-order but eh I couldn't wait for it to arrive and downloaded it aswell. Cost me enough, was worth it though. :D I've played it like 3 days straight now.

"Bubbly" is getting a UK release 24th September.

That's excellent news, her album is absolutely great, one of the best of 2007 so far. The first 8 or 9 tracks are exceptional, though it goes a little bit downhill at the end but perhaps those tracks will grow :D

I highly recommend it

What websites is the CD available to buy from?

I agree I'm not so keen on Magic on Tied Down towards the end, but Capri .

I got my cd on order from Connection X, it's been shipped on the 17th but it's from the US obviously and it's not here yet. I think cd universe also have it and amazon. Download 7 digital, it's not on UK Itunes.

I have this album now and its pretty good actually, heres my very quick review lol

01 - Oxygen - A pleasant start to the album with this midtempo slice of pop, nothing wow but good - 7/10

02 - The Little Things - Nice song here, a good summery song with great vocals - 8/10

03 - One Fine Wine - Pretty similar song again here, its very good with a nice melody - 8/10

04 - Bubbly - Very simple song this is but its a lovely, brilliant song - 9/10

05 - Feelings Show - Decent upbeat ballad here, well written to - 8/10

06 - Midnight Bottle - Fantastic song here, takes a few listen to be appreciated - 9/10

07 - Realize - A grower this is, thought it was dull & boring buts its grown a lot - 7/10

08 - Battle - Great song here, more production on this, great lyrics to - 9/10

09 - Tailor Made - Upbeat song, very summery, nothing special though - 6/10

10 - Magic - This is a stunningly written song but the song itself just goes nowhere - 6/10

11 - Tied Down - The worst song on the album imo, very bland but its a grower - 5/10

12 - Capri - The album ends with a ballad, its nice but a bit of a snoozefest - 6/10

Overall: A very good album actually, its rather simple but i think thats what makes it so good at times, great lyrics,

a few duds towards the end but overall a great debut - 7/10

Glad you mostly like it Conor, its entered at No.1 in my album chart straightaway pushing off Kelly Clarkson :w00t:

Album has debuted at No.5 in the US :o

Woah! Kudos to her, glad there is someone new out there that isn't of the rap genre.

I haven't heard of this girl, what's her genre? And I know it's pop, but what kind of pop?
