Don'tcha...

wish you could dance like her?

Ashley Roberts of the hit pop group Pussycat Dolls will be in Biloxi on Friday to teach a West Coast-inspired hip-hop class.

"Ashley's part of the hottest girl group right now," said Kelli Dickens, director of Kelli Steps. "All of our dancers are very excited about learning from her and watching her perform...

this is very, very, exciting."

Dancers should put on their comfortable urban and street dancewear for the workshop, set for 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Kelli's Steps School of Dance in Edgewater Mall.

Roberts will instruct participants in the latest dance moves along with Kelli's son Trent Dickens, an L.A.-based choreographer and dancer, to benefit S.T.E.P.S., a nonprofit organization set up to help South Mississippi dancers continue their professional training in the performing arts when they wouldn't be able to otherwise.

As a bonus, dancers will have an opportunity to be chosen to perform onstage at Hard Rock Live's "B Town Beatz," with Roberts, Trent Dickens and Kenny Wormald at 2 p.m. Sunday.

The fee for the class is $95 for both days. To register for the workshop, call Kelli Dickens at Kelli's Steps, 388-1616.

Donations may be made to S.T.E.P.S., 2600 Beach Blvd., Biloxi, MS 39531.

Check out Friday's Marquee to read more about the event.
