August 30, 200717 yr Author He always got stuck in on Smile. Do you remember the urban dance moves at the end of the shows in the first series. It did make me laugh watching Darius. I just don't know which tapes Ive still got. As I said, I've had a lot of stuff from various family members and they always have loads of blank tapes. At one point someone kindly added theirs to the pile which I was trying to get through to find out out what exactly I had. The Darius bits aren't always at the beginning. That would be too simple. Lots were recorded on the next balnk space of whatever tape happened to be in the machine. Even when I do get a little time it still takes ages to check hours of tape to find some lost Darius gems.

August 31, 200717 yr Author I haven't done it yet. I need to talk to someone in the shop who knows the machine and who can tell me if it has two scart leads or just one. If it's an integrated machine, surely one connection is all it would need? The last guy I talked to wasn't a specialist in that section and he just confused me.

August 31, 200717 yr This is where my husband is useful. He's a really good shopping aid apart from the fact he hates it. Still, I bribe him with coffee and cakes.
