They covered this in Jo Whiley's Live Lounge the other day.

 

It's pretty rubbish, the lead singer's voice doesn't fit the style and tone of the song at all, and it's not a patch on the original at all.

Agreed, awful awful awful. The people who claim Turner can't sing should be forced to listen to this cover.

Agreed, and to be fair he was very complimentary about the band in the build up to the cover.

The Music on it was FAB :D

 

The Vocals were rather $h!t though, definately not a well suited song for them to cover.

 

Still glad their fans of the band though! :P

The lead singer is unbelievably stylish. He was always gonna be a fan of great music :cheer:
