Posted July 23, 200717 yr Muse's Matt Bellamy has revealed his love for Arctic Monkeys. Speaking exclusively to NME.COM backstage after the Arctic Monkeys performance at the benicassim on Saturday (July 21), Bellamy revealed he'd come on site early just to see the band. He said: "I thought they were brilliant. I think they're playing really well at the moment. They're getting ready for their big gig in the UK next week. So it's good to see them at the peak of their playing, really." Bellamy also said that Muse's famous stage show was influenced by an unlikely source. He said: "Hopefully we're going to have one of the most impressive video productions here. (It has) lots of DJ Shadow-influenced stuff." July 23, 200717 yr I don't think the Muse love is necessarily reciprocated. It all goes back to Mr Bellamy (allegedly!) making a pass at Andy Nicholson's mum ages ago (while Andy was still in the band). I remember Andy's brother Rob not being too happy about it at the time.
