Posted July 26, 200717 yr On a one to ten scale, what would you rate yourself as a fan of Britney right now? One being, I despise the bitch, and ten being, I love her to death and think that she could do no wrong. You'd be surprised of how many people like that there are out there. I would say I am about a 7.5. I am mad at how she is shutting people out of her life, and is surronding herself with people that don't really give two shits about her or her children. I also think she needs to have a PROFESSIONAL manager and publicist like Larry and Leslie, she is only ruining herself because she is obviously not skilled in multi-tasking when it comes to the technical aspects of her career. On the other hand I still love all of her music, and she is still my favourite musician/performer. If she can prove to get back on her feet after this major slump in her career I will have more respect for her, but until then... Edited July 26, 200717 yr by Dirty Pop
July 26, 200717 yr I'm probably a 7.5 or 8 just 'cause we haven't heard anything new from her in soooo long! All the negative publicity and the sometimes bad decisions she makes doesn't really change how I am as a fan. I don't know, sometimes I wish she'd do things differently! I agree with you though Tyler. Britney needs to surround herself with better people and get her career back on track. But, do you honestly think she is right by surronding herself with superficial people and lashing out on her family and friends. I think she is a great person, but if she really wanted to get all of this bad press off of her (the constant paparazi) she could move somewhere, she has done it before.

I think Britney is an amazing inspiration, and IS in control of her life and knows what she wants ... but I agree, I'm not so happy with the people she's surrounded by - she needs professionals, who know what they're doing on the day-to-day stuff. I also think she can make some unwise choices, but to me that's human error, we all date the wrong people etc, so that's not a big deal for me.
July 26, 200717 yr A 6. I'm not a TRUE fan, only own one cd, and that's Oops! but I'm still interested in her comeback and what's going on in her life, with K-Fed, custody, the kids, pregnancy rumors, etc. :P

She's a grown up person and she can do whatever she wants with her life. Even with the bad choices, I still think she's a very nice person, down to earth and real. Some people don't seem to understand that.
