I sleep as soon as my head touches the pillow and I don't wake up during the night. I do sleep very deeply and I can do it on uncomfortable sofas and makeshift beds of all kinds. I'm not aware of my surroundings at all when I'm sleeping.

That's why you don't remember your dreams or think you don't dream. I can't sleep anywhere and sleep badly in strange beds, let alone uncomfortable sofas and makeshift beds and as soon as my hubby walks across the room it wakes me up.

I should be taking the washing in - four loads done today, will do more tomorrow.

Hooray! Is it sad to get excited about dry weather just because it means my washing will dry?

That's one of the biggest things. I should get a worjking tumble dryer but, I prefer drying things outside. I also prefer walkin in the dry than the rain.
We have no space for a tumble dryer in our kitchen . I hate walking in the rain and standing in it.

Goodnight, Nina. We have a defunct dryer - there are so many things I want to buy, a new one isn't even on the list.

Night, spamfritter.

I'm doing what I should be doing after being out all evening - catching up with things here.

I never quite manage to catch up -keep up on here
I'm just going to have a quick read and answer a few posts before I have a coffee and do a couple of puzzles.
Doesn't coffee keep you awake BT?
I have a strong filtered coffee after dinner but use decaffeinated for the rest of the evening. It's not that which keeps me awake. I'm just a night owl.

I used to always start work before 7am - when I wasn't doing shifts, so got used to early nghts and early mornings.
I usually leave home at 7.25 in the morning to go to work so am in a habit of getting up early. I should go to bed earlier, trouble is, I get chatting on MSN and before I know it, it's one o'clock in the morning.

That's one of the reasons I don't use msn. It also stops whatever else you are doing at the time.
