I'm packing now and I'll be of to Blackburn shortly. I still don't know if it's going to be too hot to take Mum today. Shame we didn't go yesterday - it was much cooler.

It's lovely here today but not too hot. I have to go shopping and then if it's still nice after that, I'll have to cut the grass which seems to have taken a real jump over the few days I've been away.

Should be unpacking the shopping - but like the good girl I am, I thought I would 'pop in' here first!! :teresa: :D

I managed to stir myself to go shopping. I was exceptionally good. Because it was fairly local, I didn't take the car. I walked!

If I don't take the car, i don'tbuy excess stuff just cos it's a bargain.

 

It was the wrong time to go out. The school's are back. This must have been their first day I think.

I'm terrible, I always buy the BOGOFs whether I need them or not and kid myself I'm saving money!! :rolleyes:

 

Don't the Scottish schools go back early - I think the schools down here only broke up about 2 weeks ago!! :unsure:

Our schools always close at the end of June. I think it's the same in Northern Ireland but they don't go back until the beginning of September.

We're going out early tonight so I must go and unpack the shopping before hubby gets home!! :rolleyes: :D

The dirty ones multiply really fast. No such luck with the clean ones.

 

It's a pity my outdoor fairy hasn't made its way into the kitchen yet. No-one's surprising me by doing all my jobs in there for me.
