But we have autumn as a rash of colour and golden sunsets and light to look forward to. It's not all bad, Nina.
If you say so Meg

I do. I love autumn. The very richness of the light is beautiful. I love the way it sets everything to fire and gold in late afternoon and the mellow feel of the days slipping by. My favorite season. Mind you, I do have blood in my veins unlike some cold blooded mortal I may know.
September is ok but Ihate seeing the trees with no leaves on, the colder weather and the days shortening till it's dark when I go to work and dark when I come home.

I wish they wouldn't put the clocks back - I don't like that but, there are things I like in all seasons. Late September/October is my fae.

That's the worst time, going in to work and back in the dark. I hate having so little natural light.

Has anyone ever used one of those lightboxes? I wonder if it's worth investing in one.

I sometimes use daylight bulbs for close craft work but they're not great. I'm a bit sceptical about the benefits of lightboxes but I don't know anyone who's actually used one

I absolutely adore the Autumn colours and the crunch of leaves underfoot.

My life is anything but slow. I never manage to catch up with myself.

Jus sop going so fast. You;ll find it easier to catch up. Or tie yourself up - that'll help.
I should be preparing dinner and setting the table as my sister-in-law and her hubby are coming round tonight but I decided I needed a rest after hoovering, making an apple cake and fruit salad.

Kids and husbands are good for setting tables. You shouldn't have to do it all.
Well, he helped (sort of) and the girls did a bit but I did most of the work. Feeling tired today and am glad I have a couple of days off.
