I got the spare going, so I'll see how many I get printed before it dies again. I'm hoping to take the other in Wednesday or Thursday. The spare wont take the firmer paper. The trouble is that they are designed for light domestic use - which isn't what I'm doing with the poor things now.
Me too. I'm just going to make lunch and then I'll need to get ready to visit the hospital. hopefully, I'llmanage to get back on later today/tonight.

Must go and dry my hair......be back later

Very much later, Julia.

Morning Meg - I'm here :hi:

When I called back last night (this morning!!), everyone was in bed!! :D

I don't know what I should be doing. I've got so many things on the go at once and don't seem to have a long enough time frame to tackle and finish any one thing.

It's bad for me because if I don't make headway with something and have to put it aside, it takes me ages to work up any enthusiasm/urgency about it again.

I've just fed my father-inlaw and am now reading the new camcorder manual. My husband is being allowed to borrow this, so it shouldn't break.
I guess I should be going to bed soon but I'm just in, so I feel I have to unwind or I'll have no chance of sleeping.

I managed to get a cheap colour cartridge for my Lexmark today. Now I just have to track down a cheap one for my HP and I'll be all set again.

It looks like the Postal strike will be over by the end of the month, so I'll maybe send for mine round about then.Surely I'll manage to look after them for a couple of extra weeks.

I think these would like to. Another 5 pages and I'll even have two spare in case I need them. Poor Dave gets to bind them all tomorrow. I wish the printers were quicker but I'll settle for having one still working.

He turned the internet off. Because I have to watch each print through, he thought I wasn't on it. He's fine with binding them. It gives him a fiddly job that he knows I really appreciate. He'd hate the 5 mins of paper flexing until the paper is flexible enough to go through with each sheet.
