It was. We were just missing D doing something for us to aim at. I'm shattered. I'm just going to check parents and then go to bed.
How was Billy Elliot? It was good seeing both of you and your lovely daughter, Pam. The only person missing was Darius

A HUGE bit missing :(

Billy Elliot was great....some of the songs were a bit naff but the dancing was fabulous.

the kids only do 2 shows a week....there's a lot of talent out there!

Not quite like the film but if you enjoyed the film then it's worth seeing....especially of you like dancing

Hope you're sleeping soundly now.

I couldn't stand the film. Nina and I had a nice walk through London in the sunshine though.

I saw the film in the cinema when it came out and I enjoyed it, but wasn't bowled over by it. I think that's always my reaction to films that are way overhyped in advance. They build my expectations too high and I get a sort of flat feeling watching them and wondering when the great wow moment is going to come.

I had every opportunity to buy day seats for the matinees of Billy Elliot, which was in a theatre near Victoria which I walked past dozens of times, on my various trips to London. I don't know if the film put me off or if it was the thought of all that dancing, but I was never tempted.

I wasn't. I chose a walk instead. It was good us meeting up though. It's lovely keeping in touch, even with only a few.
It was good just to walk (and cheaper) and chat - and I can't fall asleep when moving.

I'm off to bed - so that I can wake up bright and breezy and ready to go in the morning.

Goodnight.

night, drive carefully.

Billy Elliot you like or hate.

like all musicals there were parts I could have done without.

I just love dance....I really must see a ballet when in London sometime.....

Well, I've never tried sleep walking before (or sleep talking). Mind you I may talk more sense....or then again I might be shouting at monsters.
I don't like opera but one of my ambitions is to go to the Paris Opera House. They sometimes do ballets there in December. Last year it was Swan Lake but I didn't go because it was the Matthew Bourne one, which I didn't like when I saw it in the UK.
my son used to sleep walk and he certainly still talks in his sleep.....quite loud sometimes
