That sounds so organised - rotas - definately not me.

I think rotas are absolutely necessary in voluntary associations otherwise the 'somebody else will do it' becomes the norm and one person is left to carry the load. With a rota there's more chance that people will be more committed.

I know it's necessary. So much of my life is determined by the clock, the thought of being chained to anything else is horrific.

I should be finishing them dreaded dishes again :o

I've just eaten. I've left the dishes to 'soak' i.e. I can't face them yet.

I'll put mine in the dish washer tomorrow.

I've got a dishwasher but I only really use it if I've used a lot of saucepans etc. crockery, even cutlery I don't mind.

I just fill it up every time the cupboard is empty enough to put away the last lot.

That's them done for another night.

Tomorrow. I'm beginning to think it should be a theme tune.
