I think I refer the poached salmon, so that's OK.

I didn't have any salmon or steak pie

I really fancied some mash and gravy

Liver, onions mash and gravy always go down well here.

we had ribeye steak, jacket potato, mushrooms, peas and coleslaw

left the boys and their girls to fend for themselves

Dave got a pizaas he was out all day and didn't know when he'd be back. I had one of those pre prepared healthy meals. I wish I'd stayed hungry.
