Going back to bed. I was going out for the day but the diarrhoea is still with me. I don't think I'd get that far. These things seldom last for more than 48 hrs though.

I'm up but I'm going back to bed. I'm glad I caught my friend before she'd got too far.

Hope your father-in-law doesn't catch it. Get well soon, Meg.

Hope you feel better tomorrow Meg

I'm being very careful, Bramley. Antibacterial washes and not getting close to him. This is the third day of it. If it's still with me next week, I'll see the doctor. It's a shame my husband is away Fri/Sat//Sun.

Have a nice rest, megham.

:nocheer: Sorry to hear you're ill. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

I'm not really ill, just unwell. Temperature, headache, glands up and diarrhoea. It'll be gone by tomorrow. Trouble is, I've come down with a cold, I suppose my resistance was low.

Hopefully it's bacterial rather than a virus.

I don't really know the difference but I know I really hate the latter because you can't fight it. You just have to wait until it's fed up mucking you about.

I'll just have to start ignoring it then. If I don't react, it'll be no fun for it.
Sounds more like a virus than bacterial. Hope you feel better soon Meg.

Time is a great healer, Meg. Hope you're feeling better today.

I should have been on here but I was distracted watching the interview on the GITM single. Something strange had happened to my computer and my DVD player went in the huff and wouldn't play ball. I thought it had maybe been something to do with the software disc I'd just used so I grabbed the nearest CD to test it and D wouldn't play either. I restored my system and tested it with him again and what came up was the data part of the CD.

Darius looks amazing in it- something about his eyes - and I could listen to him read a telephone directory and not be bored. I couldn't tear myself away until the end.

It's so nice when you watch something you haven't seen for a while, and realise you like it just as mush as you did then.

I should have bought some onions while I was out - I am now going to buy some onions. Dave wants an old favorite, sausages, mash and onion gravy.

He'll be on to tripe and onions next!!!! L O L

Only tried that once, many, many years ago...........ugh! Disgusting.

Especially when you know what tripe is!

Tripe is indeed revolting, like eating rubber. My mum used to make it when we were kids and I hated it.

Not in this house, tripe is something my Dad loved, I tried once and, never again.
