I hope it's not like that on the 5th.

 

I should be watching the 10 o'clock news but I've just read it all on Google news.

I keep thinkin TV and papers have old news - but it's only that Ive already read it on the internet.

I don't bother buying a newspaper anymore.

I should be going out to get a few messages and a paper but I've got a horrible cold and I'm feeling really miserable and just want to stay in the warmth.

 

It actually looks OK outside. There's a weak sun. Makes a change. We've had ice for a couple of days.

Poor you BT. Hope your cold is better soon. Best thing to do is snuggle under the duvet, play Darius really loudly and have a hot toddy to hand. Guaranteed to make you feel a little better.

Thanks, Nina. I'm better today than yesterday. I stayed in bed. I filled the big flask with boiling water in the morning and used that to make my Lemsip all day.

 

I don't think there's any whisky in the house but I could make do with vodka, gin, wine and cider but not all at once, couldn't I ?

I'd settle with the cider - as long as it's not sweet. These colds are nasty - and as soon as one goes another similar one turns up.

 

That happens when people get run down by doing too much too soon after a heavy cold. So take things

easy,Baytree........you don't want to feel under the weather at Xmas. Hope you soon feel better.

I feel much better today. I'm going to do my usual lunch club duties, so I'll see how I am later. I'll be glad to get out of the house.

 

I hope I can clear it completely because I'm going to Paris on Sunday. I hope the internal transport strikes are over but if they aren't it won't deter me. I know central Paris better than London and tbh I feel safer walking its streets then either Glasgow or London.

 

 

Just returned from shopping now I need to take the dogs out....

 

 

I'm not going to go out again today. I got a few messages on the way back in.

I'm going to bed. It's just too tempting to stay up when I get near the pc.

It wasn't me. I'm out to lunch in a little while. Neither of the men are happy with it. I am though.

I'm going out for luch tomorrow but today I've got to go into town. I need a new suitcase for Sunday. I meant to get it earlier, but of course plans never go as we expect.
