I should be making lunch.

I am making lunch. I have to wait for another ten minutes before puuting the potatoes on.

I'm just having a light lunch. I'm dining out tonight.

I want Mum to lose weight - dining our is limited to twice a week now.

It's hard to dine out and keep calories down. It takes all the pleasure out of the occasion if you're eating what you feel you should, rather than what appeals to your taste buds, doesn't it?

It's a waste of money. Eating out should be a pleasure.

I also hate eating out when the restaurant makes its commercial aim of as many covers as possible in as little time as possible, only too clear and makes me feel as if I'm being rushed through the courses.

I should be getting ready to go out. I'm not really in the mood. I hope I can summon up some enthusiasm before I get there.

Sometimes, those end up the best evenings out. Off to feed the parents.

Ive finished the ironing so sitting here cooling off.

That's not nice it's hot anyway without the iron adding to it. It is so nice to sit now the sun has gone down.

I should be dealing with a pile of unopened mail.

It got quite windy here at one time yesterday and one of the upstairs blinds came down. I should be putting it back up. First my Mum came up to supervise - so I waited until she left. I need to Move the dog's bed top do it. Guess who's fast asleep and showing no signs of wanting to move. I'll probably go and get the papers first.

Mines just as exciting Im cooking for the kids.

I just can't do any more in the garden, the heat has sapped my inthusiasm.

I was out much longer than I wanted to be today and now I've got to go out again at 7.30. Sometimes I feel my life isn't my own.

Well, life does sometimes run away with you. I, on the otherhand, am going to feed parents. whoopie.
