If there was one artist in the entire history of music that deserved more success than they recieved, it would be STACIE ORRICO! this girl is amazing! its unbelieveable that her music didnt do too well. Her single, I Promise, only peaked at 22 in the UK Charts which is a total BUMP!!! THE SONG IS AMAZING AND WAS WORTH OF A TOP 10 POSITION!!!! she is an incredible singer and deserved so much more success than she got!

if you dont believe me then just listen to these songs, look at their peak positions then tell me what you think.

Stuck [uS #52, UK #9]

More To Life [uS #30, UK #12]

I Promise [uK #22] *The UK is so f-ed up for not getting this in the top 10*

I Could Be The One [uK #34]

I'm Not Missing You [uK #22]

For those wondering what has happened to Stacie:

In February 2007, Orrico left Virgin Records due to the its merging with Capitol Records after it went bankrupt. Stacie Orrico then travelled to South Africa, as a volunteer with Cross-Cultural Solutions, to help children with AIDS. She has now returned from South Africa, as fans now eagerly anticipate Orrico's return to the music industry.

so hope she has a comeback and kills the music industry with her amazing talent

if there was one artist that i recommend it would be Stacie (and JoJo of course :P )

I love both More To Life and Im Not Missing You  She's a real talent but her problem was she wasn't marketed right. It was hard to tell who she was actually trying to appeal to...
Airplay and chart positions are based more on hype and clever marketing than talent, and talent itself is less valued than image. That's why I ignore the charts and buy the music I like.

"Beautiful Awakening" was blandly awful :/

"More to Life" is up there with my favourite songs of the last 10 years :o

I have her albums, I like the first a lot the second not so much. More To Life was amaze as a single and in general it was all great and Strong Enough wow. <3

Lucie and Stacie are IMO two of the most under-rated artists of the past decade, both are amazing to me ... Strong Enough is also my fave Stacie song, just amazing, and I've loved all of her singles.

<3

I love her so much, her most recent album [beautiful Awakening] is actually her thrid album after her first Christian album, and then the self titled album.

Personally I perfer her last one, and really wished they actually released so simple rather than just filming the video.

Talent almost wasted, such a shame she never appealed to the masses.

I love Stacie!

Her debut album is excellent, a real pure pop album and I can't say there's a weak track on it. Her follow-up however... bland, bland, bland.

I Could Be The One deserve a Top5 placing. -_-

I'm Not Missing You was so so so so SO bland :(

Stuck and More To Life were good though

I love her. Stuck is one of the best tracks that I have listened in my life. Her last album is a little bit boring... but well i really like So Simple, I'm not missing U, I could Be the One... well she deserves so much succes...
