You're right violence is not acceptable and I should not have enjoyed seeing Darius getting slapped in G&D every performance.

And I shouldn't have been witing to see him fall over in the dances. I was so proud that he did well, but, I would have laughed. I'm horrible.

One person getting confused in the dances in the havana scene could have caused an unbelievable tangle. There seemed to be so many people moving in different directions and propscoming on and off.

It was great that it looked so good. I felt sorry for him dancing in a way that he looked the same height as everyone els. It was done so well that I thought the other men were really tall at first.

It didn't seem to bother him one bit. I suppose that's because he'd got used to it by doing it over and over in rehearsals until it was second nature.
No, not that. I'd have hated him to do most of the things Marlon Brando did in the film.

He sounded great. His voice is powerful enough without giving it all that vibrato stuff. that some do.
Specially, in the early Liverpool ones, they didn't have the sound mix quite right. A lot depends on the sound engineers in these productions.

I prefer the more natural singing styles in G&D to the rather unatural show voice that some people put on.

Did you see any of Any Dream Will Do? There was a guy on there called Anthony and he just didn't seem to be able to adapt his practised big show voice to the pop songs they were asking him to do. It was very off putting.

I only caught bits of it too but I remember thinking "Can't he change his singing style for different genres at all?"

I guess I'm just so used to Darius being versatile that I think everyone is.

I think Darius can't resisit a challenge. It also helps that he has such a wide vocal range.
