I suppose there's depth as well as range and styles - all of which make a difference.
No, I ry and avoid that as much as possible. I'm not too keen on singers who cn't sing either.

Well don't watch the Antony Cotton show when it comes on the TV, IMHO his singing in the pilot show leaves a lot to be desired. I had the misfortune to click on a link and watch it.

I think it's going to take the 5 o'clock slot that Richard Hammond had and Sharon Osborne?

I should think a lot of people would be busy with family things at that time yet Richard and Judy and Paul O'Grady did well in that slot.

I'd like to hear him sing some traditional Scottish songs. I'm convinced he's got a great voice for them.
I think he passed Ok with 'Flower of Scotland' Actually, I think he'd pass on a whole lot of things. Any gig will do. Feel free to persuade him

IMHO Flower of Scotland is not a great example of a traditional song, although I do agree that Darius sang it very well.

I mean a song with more of a haunting Gaelic influenced sound. eg I'd really like to hear him sing Dark Island.

You watched Any Dream Will Do, didn't you, Preston? Do you know the guy I was talking about above? The one who just didn't seem to be able to tone down his "show" voice to suit the songs they were given?
I'd have astched 'Any Dream' if D was on it. But I'd be wishing he wasn'y all the way through it.

I've watched some really unthinkable things over the past 6 years just because I didn't know the precise moment Darius was coming on. Just thinking of This Morning alone there were the fairies and the ladies who partook of a certain liquid which they claimed was good for the health.
Oh, that was so funny. D got into trouble again. The look on his face was priceless. It put me of apple juice.
