I used to love sister mothers site and jeaj devotees. Wonder what happened to Jeaj. I know sister mother and alison were going to guys and dolls and was looking forward to a review from them but didnt see one. They were all there at the beginning as it were.

Ikept hearing the chorus of 'Rushes' and not being sure I liked it. Then I heard the rest of it - and loved it.

I didn't go to any signings, just the show case for Dive In at Manchester....with the meet and greet :D

I have an eclectic and selective memory.

 

Ordinary day to day things, I need to write down to remember them, but if it's important enough to me, I'll remember every little detail, without any conscious effort. The way I use it too, can be off-putting because I seem to browse from one remembrance to the next making tenuous connections, almost like following random links on a page here. When I'm talking to someone, I sometimes go from one subject to something seemingly unrelated but in fact logical, when I reel off the connections.

 

My Mum does that. I know I do sometimes but, with my Mum is constant. We can be talking about my daughter and she doesn't cchange the subject but immediately comes out with someone doing something that couldn't possible be her. I then have to sort out the who, where , when and what.

I'm having senior moments already?

I think she's had them all her life. Too active, too much enjoyment of life to do more than go with the moment. She is lovely but hard work now she's had her stroke. The body wont work and her brain still thinks it can

Recovery from a stroke is such a struggle for everyone.

 

 

The next DD 5th anniversary is 4th August, surely.

I can still remember listening. I knew it had to be #1 but, until I heard it, I couldn't rest. Anyone got the bottle of chanpagne pic?

I've got it one somewhere. I'll see if I can find it.
