August 1, 200717 yr Author With Every Heartbeat No.9 in the mids No.2 on iTunes Album re-released on 13th August with bonus track, Jack U Off, a Prince cover
August 1, 200717 yr Author Her next UK single apparently. If that's true then its an excellent choice! I assume the fast version will be used but it would be nice if the ballad version was promoted too a la DHT a few years back... and if Do You Really Want Me didn't launch into a Backstreet Boys style tune it would have made a great slow ballad
August 1, 200717 yr Author Can I redirect people who don't know much of her music to this link: http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore...63&s=143444 Its her last single with 3 great b-sides to download for £1.99, bargain!
August 5, 200717 yr Author Woohoo!!! Single straight in at No.5 on downloads! Excellent news and her biggest hit to date!
August 5, 200717 yr one of my favourite tracks by her is "keep the fire burning" i remember hearing this before it was covered by bev knight UWX3s8hE26w
August 6, 200717 yr This Swedish girl was great back in the 90s - Show Me Love was a classic. She was much underated in the UK
August 6, 200717 yr Bev's version is c**p compared to Robyn. Robyn sings it with an atitude, which is how its supposed to be.
August 6, 200717 yr Does she balls! Robyn's voice on that song especially is very weak, and you're comparing her with the mighty Knight! Bev's was a big hit and rightly so ^_^ Edited August 6, 200717 yr by Jark
August 6, 200717 yr It wasnt a big hit, it didnt even go top15. Robyn's version went top3 in her home country., and even managed to spread across other European countries. You're not meant to sing the song soulfully. Plus I grew up with Robyn's version so it's hers I prefer. The beat demands a sassy voice.
August 6, 200717 yr Sassy is what defines Bev!!! Whatever though, im not going to keep this goin :P When its obvious Bev's is better!
August 6, 200717 yr Author There is an interview with her on Popjustice now! She denies that Be Mine is the next single as she says it is her best song so it would make more sense to save it until later... Surely it would make sense to release another GREAT song next to keep the momentum up... and sorry Skizzo, I forgot to include Keep This Fire Burning, I will add it now... I personally prefer Robyn's version to Beverley's version as I just like Robyn's voice more... I also like her hair in the video more than the short hair she has now...
August 7, 200717 yr After one listen to Robyn's 'Keep This Fire Burining', I have to say I vastly prefer it to Bev's version.
August 7, 200717 yr "Handle Me" next single. "Be Mine!" ready to get the Christmas sales. Very savvy marketing on Robyn's people's behalf.
August 7, 200717 yr I disagree. Be Mine! is the best single so to save it for 3rd is silly; she needs to release it next to show people she has more than one great song and persuade them to invest in the album.
August 7, 200717 yr goodelta, its definitely the video where she looks the best. Absolutely flawless, and she looks feminin too. I think Be Mine should be 2nd, Who's That Girl and Handle Me should be either 3/4. My fav is Handle Me, but its far too diferent to WEH to be released next
August 7, 200717 yr Author "Handle Me" next single. "Be Mine!" ready to get the Christmas sales. Very savvy marketing on Robyn's people's behalf. Handle Me won't be a hit I wouldn't think... Konichiwa Bitches however is up to No.41 in the midweeks :o  :cheer:
