Posted August 3, 200717 yr Sophie Ellis-Bextor has always been a woman apart. These days, her fellow popstars are proudly peppering their tunes with more glottal stops than a night out with Jade Goody, but Sophie continues to speak in the Queen’s English. And while the class of 2007 can’t wait to tell us they’re as normal as “beans on toast”, the stylish Sophie tends to look like she’s been beamed straight in from Jupiter's hottest nightspot. Besides, who else would think to write a "punky disco song" based on a quotation from a Victorian anarchist revolutionary? We caught up with Sophie to discuss her touching new single, her upcoming UK tour and why she never got to work with the Pet Shop Boys. Here's the link: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/a69173/v...lis-bextor.html Even popstars deserve a night off, right? After a long day of singing, dancing and exuding effortless glamour, Sophie Ellis-Bextor likes to unwind by bopping until her “feet are sore and her hair is wet” at impossibly sweaty intimate London nightspot Ghetto. But what happens when, just as Soph’s really letting loose, the DJ decides to spin ‘Murder On The Dancefloor’? Press play to find out. The pop goddess also reveals why she enjoys performing at G-A-Y, what it’s like to be a gay icon and why she wants to be in Kylie's gang in this exclusive Gay Spy chinwag. August 3, 200717 yr Author Quite interesting, looks like If I Can't Dance is defo going to be the 4th single. The part in the second interview when she talks about Murder on the Dancefloor coming on in the club and everyone singing it back to her is so sweet  Looks like we're gonna get all the singles as well at the tour :D
