EllafitzG won a competition to meet Will and she never posted after that ;)

Ella won and was so excited to have won..she went..and was never heard from again....Ever. :blink:

Maybe she was sworn to secrecy. :unsure:

We were discussing this a couple of years ago when someone posted a piccy of Will sitting behind a table full of fruit and orange juice etc. and someone else asked where it had come from. It, and another one, was posted on O/S from the day that Ella won the comp when she was supposed to be spending an hour with him. I said "I wonder if we'll ever hear about her day" and the call went up. One of our girls, can't remember who it was now, said that she had real problems with her husband over it and, although she did eventually go, she never came back on site again.

 

That competition really deteriorated into squabbles because we were asked to vote for the best slogan and there were five finalists. We weren't supposed to know who had sent which slogan in but people were telling each other which one was theirs so they were voting for their mates. In the end Will had to be asked to choose one and he chose Ella's. We never did have a site run competitiion again :lol:

Yes, I agree, a random draw sounds about the fairest way. Let's hope it's all done fair and square, and no-one has reason to get upset.

 

A couple of years back, I could never have imagined Will wanting to do anything like this. But over the last year or so, and particularly since having done the Vortex, he seems far more relaxed about being in the presence of fans ..... and far more relaxed about his 'celebrity' status in general.

Who knows what's behind it? Does it really matter? Maybe he just wanted to do something he though his fans might appreciate. Yes, on balance, I'd probably prefer a front row spot at an intimate gig :heart: , but this comp sounds pretty damn good too!

 

I think I may enter this one. For some reason, it doesn't sound as scary as the thought of a Meet & Greet, or one-to-one encounter. Safety in numbers, and all that. I could just melt into the background and spend a wonderful couple of hours just looking and listening. I don't think I'd dribble, LOL, but I probably would have that soppy, loved-up smile all over my face, the one that I always get whenever I look at Will :blush: Oh, and I'd definitely eat - takes an awful lot to put me off my food.

Listen to me go on, as if I've got a snowflake in hell's chance :lol: But wooohooo!!! :jump: I'm gonna have a go!

I remember that. She said she'd come back with all the details, and to this day we've never heard another word. I think at one point it was even wondered whether she actually existed. But if she did have problems with her husband I can understand it. In the early days a number of peeps had problems with their OHs.
