Posted August 3, 200717 yr Kate Nash tops download chart 03 August 2007 - 08:00:00 Source: MW Kate Nash’s online sales see the starlett claim number one position on the download chart this week, with Foundations (Fiction/Polydor) eclipsing Timbaland’s The Way I Are (Polydor). The only new entry to the Top 10 comes from Mark Ronson and Lily Allen, who collaborate on the Kaiser Chiefs cover Oh My God (Columbia), which lands at number seven. Outside the Top 10, Newton Faulkner lands at number 12 with Dream Catch Me (Ugly Truth/RCA), which continues to pick up spins at radio. Elsewhere in the Top 20 Rihanna is back with the second single from her latest album, Shut Up And Drive (Mercury) at number 15, and one step back, Green Day’s official Simpsons Theme (Warner Bros) also charts. Plain White T’s knocked Rihanna from the top spot in the US last month but their first appearance on the UK chart is much more humble, debuting at number 21 this week with Hey There Delilah (Hollywood/Angel).
August 3, 200717 yr With daily+ updates on iTunes such a 'weekly' chart seems almost pointless anymore.
