Kelly Clarkson gives it her all!

Kelly Clarkson doens't want to give up on her new album "My December" and is resolved to make it into a succes

In the USA she will release Sober as the 2nd single after Never Again.

In Europe she will release "Don't waste your time" and in Australia the song "One Minute" will be released

Soon she will make music video clips to promote all these releases.

Together with Clive Davis she has talked about the 3rd release in the USA. Clive really wants her to release the song ' Hole'

To be continued!

THE EUROPE/AUSTRALIAN RELEASES HAVE BEEN CONFIRMED AND THE USA ONE WAS A FEW WEEKS BACK

Maybe she wanted to release 3 more singles from MD and they told her no, a new album, so she said, i'll release the 3 singles in dif places but at the same time and make a new album?

No, I don't think its a case of three songs all as a second single to end the project, if thats what you mean? They certainly wouldn't do that as to film three vids will cost an awful lot and it wouldn't be worth it - besides, to give Australia a single with a video different to the singles Europe and the US get is very odd so One Minute will probably be released elsewhere as a 3rd single, and on top of that Clive said he wanted Hole released (US single, im thinking..) so the project seems very much alive to me  Confirms in my mind that all the press bullsh!t about a new album next year and no more videos etc was just that - bullsh!t! :P

Ta for posting :D

id prefer Sober to, but i dont think that any of the songs are gona do great in the UK to be honest.
I think a WorldWide Sober release will be dependant on its US success.

I think Sober will either be MASSIVE in America, or flop badly :(

I was so sure HIF would be released, it seems not though which im pleased about  And Haunted is purely an album track, it would flop on its ass everywhere :P

No Haunted

oh come on it's the best song in the album

and Judas and Sober

But One minute.....

One Minute is the obvious single on the album, it kind of sticks out like a sore thumb to be honest.

But it is good, and although not my favourite, it's one of the most instant, I'm sure we will get Sober and then One Minute, after Don't Waste Your Time.

In that order.

Interesting idea..I wonder if it will help the album to sell though. Its dropped pretty quickly in the UK charts.

Sober is already done in the US. It's had two chances and never taken off either time. I doubt they'll make a video for it now.

One Minute is definately the obvious single. It's not the best song on the album, but it's the best single. The production of it is like a pop song, Breakaway era-style, whereas the production on most of the other tracks is rock. It's only Kelly that makes most of them pop. I can see why they picked DWYT because it has that same polished pop feel, but it's a bit bland IMO. How I feel would be the other best option for a single, but again, the production is like female rock from the 90's.

I can't see sober taking off at all in the USA, totally the wrong single for the moment, its too subtle until the end to grab listeners, if a ballad was being used then Haunted would be the best bet, and thats not even radio friendly.

DWYT and OM should do okay in their respective markets mind!

One Minute was on the radio last night

I can't see Don't Waste Your Time being huge in the UK tbh.

I think Sober will be likely to follow DWYT in the UK, I think that will help the album sales.

I'm hope she's up for promoting in all these countries aswell :D
