I'd have loved to have played football for Sunderland youth or something and worked my way up Grant Leadbitter-style :(

But the fact was I wouldnt touch a football until I was 12. And even then I was so bad I got stuck in goal

Youth Team Football is tough though :(

95% of the people involved don't make it.

Why wouldn't you touch a football? How odd.

I know :(

I did do this kids coaching thing once though SAFC 24-7 or something it was called. Went on over 3 days a few summers ago, was a laugh. I won a trophy ^_^

And I wouldnt touch one because I had no interest whatsoever in football until about age 11, when I went with my mam and her friends to a game at the stadium of light. Which we lost, iirc

I was always playing sport when I was right young... didn't help in the slightest.

Was playing cricket at 7 and Football at 9.

Marginally better at Cricket, but wasn't really good enough.

Oh and the captain of the team I was in didn't like me, so that was 2 years of doing f*** all.

I'm going to punch him one time when York City score, cuz he stands near me and I could get away with it, like.

As an accident

I tried out for a couple of teams but gave up in the end coz I was shite and they knew it

And i'm no good at all at any other sports, so I might as well stick with kickabouts ^_^

1) It wouldn't do enough damage.

2) He's lying, although I wasn't there when he "got angry". I can't imagine it being something like Mohammed Ali or summat.

He's talking himself up I swear

The laughing stock of a tinpot league is arguably a whole lot worse.

I wouldnt have thought so tbh. I mean the Premiership is a world-famous league, everyone pays attention to the prem :(

And even though were one of the most successful clubs in english football history, not that many people know who Sunderland are :(

I hate football also :(

I wonder if we'll even get into the bleeding FA Cup

You need a good cup run anyway, to give Keano abit of success if the Premiership goes t*ts up.

Which judging by how things have gone so far, could very well happen :(

We need some sort of success. I think the fans have had enough shit to put up with recently <_<
